The Eastwinds Wind Quintet will perform a concert this Sunday at 4:00 P.M. at St. Peters Episcopal Church, 302 Merchants Ave. in Ft. Atkinson, just outside of the city of Whitewater and 45-50 miles west of Milwaukee. Pieces will include the Quintet in G Minor, Op.56, No.2 - Franz Danzi, Piece en Forme de Habanera - Ravel/arr. Clarke Kessler, Trois Piece Breves (Three Short Pieces) - Jacques Ibert, and the Quintet, Op.43 - Carl Nielsen. A reception will follow the concert with a chance to meet the quintet afterwards. The quintet members are Tatiana Pearson, Flute, Josh Guarisco, Oboe, Amanda Brittain, Clarinet, myself on horn, and Eric Heitkemper, Bassoon. For those who live in the Whitewater and Ft. Atkinson areas, you will get a chance to hear some wonderful works of the wind quintet repertoire. The Eastwinds Wind Quintet looks forward to seeing you there.
