The Economic, Social and Cultural Cooperation Fund for the Pacific, or “Pacific Fund” (PF), was created in 1985 and is France’s principal regional cooperation instrument in the Pacific. The PF is financed by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and contributes to the regional integration of New Caledonia, French Polynesia and the Island of Wallis and Futuna through cooperation with the independent states of the Pacific. Proposals should pave the way to active involvement from organizations, research institutes, universities, and others present in the Pacific (especially New Caledonia, French Polynesia, and Wallis and Futuna). Applicants are invited to submit their project proposals to the French Embassy no later than 4 November 2013.
