The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has declared two persons accused of defrauding the federal government in bogus oil subsidy claims wanted. They are Seun Ogunbambo and Habila Theck, Managing Director and General Manager, Operations respectively of Fargo Petroleum and Gas Limited. They are wanted in connection with a case of conspiracy, forgery and obtaining N977 million from the Petroleum Support Fund by false pretence. The two men have been standing trial before a Lagos State High court but disappeared after being released on bail, forcing the court to issue a warrant for their arrest. Mr. Ogunbambo is also being tried for defrauding a bank and other criminal charges. The EFCC said Mr. Ogunbambo’s last known address was 2 Olamiyuyan Crescent, Ikoyi, Lagos while Mr. Theck’s was 89 Buck Field, Yaba, Lagos. The commission asked anyone with useful information on the suspects to contact its offices or the nearest police station.
