The Economist explains: What civil-asset forfeiture means | The Economist econ.st/1kutqkh Farmers in the U.S. will not be able to legally grow hemp on a commercial scale until the definition of industrial hemp is exempted from the definition of marihuana on the federal level. Even if a state passes a commercial hemp farming bill, the department of agriculture passes rules and issues licenses to farmers, its still not legal to grow hemp on the federal level. We can not recommend growing hemp, except for research persuant to Section 7606 of the Farm Bill, until the state versus federal problem is finally resolved. You may learn more about Section 7606 here: https://votehemp/7606 Otherwise, you are literally betting the farm to see if you can grow hemp under state law without a DEA permit. If you choose to do so its at your own risk. One of those risks is civil asset forfeiture. You may learn more about the risks of doing so here: votehemp/seed
