The Ego A look on the side of the unfavorable reveals........that many of your favorite things exist as a result of the ego, and its fulfillment. Perhaps the creators of such things were too good to not make their mark on the world. To be an average person or consumer was beneath them. It is possible that they were inspired to be somebody. The ego is something that is greatly disliked, though it has its value. Do not fail to acknowledge your shadow, dear critics. haha. The shadow, or shadow aspect, one of my favorite points in psychology, represents all the things that are negative, bad, or unfavorable about a person that is not seen by that person due to a natural tendency to not see fault in oneself. When you look upon another, and say that person is an ego-maniac, I hate them, they are stupid, etc.... You are ignoring your own cursing tongue. Are you better or worth more than that person? Thats the shadow aspect, the more one denies their shadow in the light of conscious being, the blacker and denser it is where it dwells..........
