The Egyptian military arrests and jails a stork. It had a tracking device on its leg - placed by French scientists, not Israeli spies. The stork remains in prison awaiting a decision by the prosecutor on whether it should be released. The photo of the stork in a jail cell is both funny and terribly sad, at the same time. Bad enough that they arrest and beat up people they think are with the Brotherhood, but you would think they could just leave the storks alone. I remember how angry people were when some idiot shot the stork that used to nest on the masjid right next to the Erbil bazaar.
