The Elguardians These noble Kings guard preside at Elgardts capital city Voltiks Citadel . The Elguardians or Voltiks Vanguards worship their patron God, Voltik – God of Battle and the Defender of Cities, and the Master of Death, who watches over the civilizations of Men, grants courage to soldiers in battle. Sir Grozmund or Groz by his peers was a fearsome Elf warrior. He founded this order of protectors during the times of chaos. Legend has it, Groz cut through swathes of demons and undead to cut down the Necromancer Lord to bring to an end the previous Dark Age. 50 years ago while escorting the Kings First born and heir to Elgardt near Sentinel Hill, Sir Groz and his entire group mysteriosly vanished. They found the Princes mangled remains weeks after as if Orc teeth chewed right through it. Some speculate that the Chaos Gods had turned him into a fearsome beast as revenge for thwarting their plans. Some say this beast still roams the forests and countryside of Elgardt terrorizing travellers. The previous Guard Captain Zarinidas fared no better. He perished in his attempt in retaking the Elgardt Fortress against the Hundred Sword invaders :( In fact the previous batch of Elguardians perished defending Elgardt from the Hundred Swords....but dont let this discourage you!
