The Emberlit Camp Stove FireAnt! I have got to say, this thing is even smaller than I had imagined (although, most UL gear usually is...) Initially, it is finicky to put together, but I dont think it will be too much of an issue after doing so a few times (again, as most UL gear can be.) The quality appears to be top-notch. Straight, even lines/cuts. Nice embossing. And once it is all put together, everything is tight and even; it lines up perfectly. So, how about some weights? Everything (stove, w/ Esbit tray & stuff sack): 3.282 oz / 93.05 g Stove & Stuff Sack only (no Esbit Tray): 3.014 oz / 85.44 g Stove only (no stuff sack or Esbit tray): 2.847 oz / 80.71 g That is pretty light weight, but I gotta admit, in hand, it feels heavier than that... maybe it is because it just feels solid when stacked together. Anyway, I need to go out and collect some wood and get a fire going in this thing... :) The FireAnt doesnt appear to be listed on the Emberlit site just yet, but I dont imagine it will be too long before it is.
