The Emulation Solution group in Egypt is looking for two QA engineers with the following profiles. The Job responsibilities and qualifications are as highlighted below. Job Qualifications • B.Sc., M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering . Graduation Grade: Excellent or Very Good with Honor Degree • Fresh or experienced • Good Knowledge about Digital/RTL Design Basics is required. • Good knowledge with scripting languages such as Shell/Perl and TCL/TK is required • Good knowledge about any of Hardware Description Languages such as VERILOG , VHDL is required. • Candidate with Prior Knowledge of Mentor Graphics Tools such as Simulation, Synthesis, or any Functional Verification Flows is a plus. • Needs to be methodological, have good communication skills, and a lot of tenacity • Must be able to work with people remotely • Self-Motivated, attentive to details and able to work independently Job Duties: • The QA engineer will have the responsibility for the testing the VirtuaLAB product • Veloce VirtuaLAB consists of a set of Mentor Graphics Emulation-based solutions for functional verification in the area of multimedia, networking, storage, and communication protocols such as: HDMI, Ethernet, USB, PCIe, SATA, AXI, AHB, and SAS; and in the area of SDRAM/Flash memory protocols such as: DDRx, LPDDRx, GDDRx, NOR, and NAND Flash. • Primary tasks include: o Testing the VirtuaLAB Emulation Based solutions for a defined set of tools for each quarterly release o Hardware testing for iSolve Solutions o Generate new regression suite for VirtuaLAB o Automate the test runs o Develop new set of SoC examples for testing purposes o Work with R&D Groups to integrate different solutions in every release. o Help in the Automation of QA/Test Process by developing scripts and tools to increase testing efficiency
