The Ending of 2014 and the beginning of 2015 The end of 2014 - TopicsExpress

The Ending of 2014 and the beginning of 2015 The end of 2014 goes with a big downturn through flood, air crash, ringgit devaluation, the ballooning national debt and the escalating 1MDB losses, falling oil prices, increasing prices of household goods and a Prime Minister who cannot explain where the official PM executive jet whereabout is. My next question is, where are we heading for? These issues are non political but are the economics problems that are facing our country. We are expecting answers and solutions and what we got today is denial and rhetoric and blur and sweeping response from the government. The supporters of the Government try to shout us common people down by telling us many incomprehensible answers, that government cannot control retail prices, that the down sliding of oil prices is incidental and the government cannot do anything about it. It only goes to show that the government do not know what to do. It is unsettling. The handling of AirAsia plane crash by Indonesia show our neighbor leadership is much stronger and more focus then ours. Before long, the Malaysian are going to work as laborers in Indonesia. Countries like Thailand, Vietnam, Philippines, Burma are catching up very fast, just look at the English used in these countries! Malaysia graduate cant even speak English well. Other countries go towards investing towards technology and increase their research, we are bogged down by Arabic words for god, talk about pre- independence history, racial supremacy, elite structure in our country, extremism. I do not see 2015 as a good year at all for us. I would even expect Najib to step down as PM. Worst, UMNO cannot even produce a next in line PM that is well accepted by the people. Sorry for the bleak assessment of Malaysia in 2015. We are that bad.
