The English are being manipulated by the media just as much as we are! Ive never in my life felt anti English, I just want a parliament thats priority is the Scottish people, not the voting majority in the South of England. No what your argument is for or against (and I respect both) no one can argue that we have hardly any influence on Westminster, we are simply out numbered. The Torry government we are have right now being the best example. Ill be sat to not be British anymore, and my want for independence has nothing to do with the Braveheart Freedom pish, I simply think we can govern ourselves better. I also strongly doubt the efficiency of two parliaments, with two sets of representatives, often with two completely different political parties in majority, fighting for control and pulling the country in different directions. Finally as a proud gay man, I feel a profound sadness at the posibilty of UKIP growing in popularity down south. These people have no place in a tolerant society. Maybe this is silly patioism, but I cant imagine them ever being accepted by the Scottish!! Its time to look after our own, and let our English, Welsh and Northern Irish neighbours do whats right for them!
