The English giants sent a message to Churchill Alemao lavishing praise on the Goan club for winning the domestic league this year.... Manchester City football club sprang a surprise by sending a message to Churchill Brothers congratulating them on their I-League triumph this year. The e-mail which was sent by City’s Chief Executive Officer Ferrian Soriano hailed the Goans for the wonderful triumph which propelled the team as the country’s number one club. Churchill Brothers supremo Churchill Alemao told Herald Goa that he was deeply touched by the gesture made by the 2011-12 Premier League champions and also revealed that he planned to visit London to discuss the possibilities of a tie-up with the Citizens in the future.
