The Entrance/Exit Office for the new DGR Wilderness Way Self Drive Route is nearly complete. The route should be open very soon and this Entrance/Exit Office will mark the beginning of the route where permits will be checked. SANPARKS Honorary Rangers as well as our resident rangers will patrol the route to ensure that visitors to the reserve adhere to the necessary rules and regulations laid down for a Big 5 reserve. Visitors will have an opportunity to drive deeper into the bushveld than they are currently able to do on only main public roads. Of course if they prefer a professional guided game drive there are many operators within the reserve that can offer this service.
