“The Entrance of the Spirit of Immorality” (Proverbs 7:24-27) “The theory of ‘if there is a cause there is an effect’ is really true. It aslo says in the book Proverbs the twenty-sixth chapter and verses two; “As the sparrow in her wandering, as the swallow in her flying, so the curse that is causeless alighteth not.” May dahilan bakit dumarating ang sumpa. We will study today from our scriptures how the spirit of immorality has an access to a person. Our text for today is found in the Book of Proverbs the seventh chapter and verses twenty-four to twenty seven; “Hearken unto me now therefore, O ye children, and attend to the words of my mouth. Let not thine heart decline to her ways, go not astray in her paths. For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her. Her house is the way to hell, going down to the chambers of death.” We noticed that the person that the author was talking here was a woman with a spirit of immorality. And we also noticed how she victimized a man who was wounded. Lahat ng may sugat ay biktima ng spirit of immorality. Kaya nga hindi tayo dapat na nasusugatan at kung tayo ay may sugat na, huwag na nating hayaang ito ay tumagal. Makikita natin dito kung paano iyong babae ay siyang naghahanap ng kanyang bibiktimahin at ang kanyang nabiktima ay iyong taong sugatan. The bible says ‘she has cast down many wounded’. Kaya ang pintuan ng spirit of immorality ay sugat sa atin mga puso at damdamin. Madali natin itong maitago sa ibang tao subalit di natin ito maitatago sa Diyos maging sa mga demonyo. Alam ng Lord ang lahat ng laman ng ating mga puso at damdamin kaya huwag na nating itago pa sa Kanya bagkus ilabas natin at ihayag upang tayo ay mapapatawad at gagaling ang lahat ng ating sugat. Ang sabi ng Aklat ng Kawikaan; “He that covereth his transgressions shall not prosper: But whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall obtain mercy.” (Proverbs 28:13) Sinabi ni Apostol Juan; “If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. If we say that we have not sinned, we make him a liar, and his word is not in us.” (1 John 1:8-10) God want to heal us wherever we are hurting but we need to come to Him with all humility; “Come unto me, all ye that labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” (Matthew 11:28-30) The reason why Joseph was able to overcome the temptation of the Pothiphar’s house, because, he never harbor any hatred in his heart to his brothers who sold him. Hindi siya nakayanan ng spirit of immorality dahil wala siyang galit at kinikimkim na poot sa kanyang puso sa mga taong umabuso sa kanya. Kaya siya ay ginantimpalaan ng Diyos at na promote siya sa Pharaoh’s house at siya ay naging second in command sa bansang pinaka makapangyarihan sa panahon na iyon. Kaya natalo si Samson ng spirit ng immorality in the person of Delilah dahil maraming sugat sa puso niya na di napagaling. Pati ang kanyang buhay ay nawala niya dahil sa spirit of immorality. Dapat matuto na tayo sa mga hamilbawa sa biblia upang dina tayo matulad sa kanila. Huwag na nating nasahin na matuto pa sa ating mga sariling pagkakamali. Matuto tayong magpatawad sa mga nagkasala sa atin at humungi din tayo ng tawad sa mga taong tayo naman ang nakasugat at nagkasala sa kanila. Tandaan natin ang katotohanang ito; ‘Ang taong sugatan ay susugat din ng iba.’ Ang babaeng sugatan ay madaling kapitan ng spirit of immorality at madali rin siyang papasok sa lalaling sugatan. Sarhan na natin ang mga pintuan para walang papasukan ang masamang spiritu na ito. Manatiling malusog ang ating mga puso at damdamin sa pamamagitan ng pagbababad lagi sa presence Niya at sa Kanyang mga Salita.”
