The Eric Garner case is important because it shows the true nature of government. When you boil it down, government, in any form, is brute force. That is how power is acquired and maintained. That is why I am against frivolous laws and regulations. How do you expect laws and regulations to be enforced? By asking people nicely not to do something? Im not willing to give the government the authority to kill over untaxed cigarette sale, underaged drinking charge, 32+ oz soda sale, possession of an illicit substance, etc. I would like to think most reasonable people agree with me.
