The Evergreen Park Youth Commission’s Youth Center is open from 1 to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Friday and offers activities, games and social activities for youths in fifth grade through high school. Evergreen Park The Youth Commission is planning summer trips that will include horseback riding, space golf, rock climbing and a tour of U.S. Cellular Field. The Youth Commission is seeking volunteers to work at the village’s annual Day in the Park, to be held from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 29. Time slots between two and 10 hours are available.
