The FALL Pirates beat the Angels - NALL 7-2 Josh Rocha went 2-3 as the FALL Pirates took home a 7-2 victory over the Angels - NALL in six innings at Marshall Field #2 on Thursday. He singled in the second inning and tripled in the fourth inning. Gio Cilibrasi looked sharp on the mound. The Angels - NALL managed just one hit off of C, who allowed no earned runs, walked one and struck out five during his three innings of work. The FALL Pirates never trailed after scoring three runs in the second on two singles. The FALL Pirates matched their one-run third inning with one more in the fifth. In the third, the FALL Pirates scored on a fielders choice, bringing home Pranav Sundar. After pushing across two runs in the top of the fourth, the Angels - NALL faced just a 4-2 deficit. An RBI single by D Casteneda and a groundout by N Cano fueled the Angels - NALLs comeback. But, Gio got C Parra to ground out to end the inning. The FALL Pirates survived the Angels - NALLs surge and put up two runs of their own in the fourth. The FALL Pirates scored on an RBI triple by Josh. Kyle Hamilton pitched lights out as well striking out 5 and only allowing 2 runs over 3 innings of work, A solid performance in just his 2nd start the entire season. Game balls went to Josh,Kyle and Zac K. Pirates finished the regular season with a 1st place record of 15- 6. Next game is on June 16th as the Pirates make their run at a District tournament of champions flag. First game is against CNLL at Warm Springs.
