The FB discussion I decided to be a part of last night, I realize really hurt me because at 3am I was up reflecting with tears in my eyes. I decided not to support or condemn the officer, Mike Brown or the jury. My position was simply that I dont feel that any human being needs to be shot 6 times for anything it by anyone. In my opinion, to open fire that many times on any human being is an execution. As the conversation progressed, the people of Ferguson were called animals and Mike Brown was compared to a terrorist! The word uneducated was thrown around also. I have never understood looting on any level but every negative or positive action has anything to do with education! I have been blessed to hold a college degree and I think you have also yet we disagree and our conclusions have nothin to do with our education level. People act out no matter how educated they are. Ignorance is universal! So at this point, a friendship that was built in high school has now come to an end because I feel, even if u felt like using such harsh words, because you are friends with people who may find them offensive, you should watch what you say. And the people who commented were just as harsh. The tongue is a powerful weapon! Dominic the words, animals and terrorist hurt me! I pray one day we grow as mankind because in the eyes of God, we are all equal!
