The Fahari-Libertad Magazine is proud to announce our first issue of the semester: “White Lies, Black Thoughts/ Mentiras Blancas, Pensamientos Negros.” This issue will surround the idea of mental slavery amongst people of the African diaspora. In honor of this years’ Black Solidarity Day, we are asking for submissions about any stereotypes, stigmas, and misconceptions about black people and the ways to liberate ourselves from mental slavery. Although it is highly suggested, you are not limited to write about the specific topic—all submissions are accepted.
