The Fashion Industry, is one of the fastest growing ventures Ugandas got. The models (we), designers, modeling agencies, the clients in the market, the fashion collectors, the make up artists and stylists, fashion writers and other stake holders, have made it a place everyone admires. Every girl whose mirror tells her, she is slender and pretty, wants to be a model, every one who has a sense of art, wants to do fashion designing at campus because we set the trends. People have the most beautiful perception about the industry (which is a good thing). In the next 5 years everyone will want to do something in the fashion industry, because everyone in this industry does what he / she does with a lot of passion and work driven by passion usually turns out perfectly. Models traveling here and there to grace international runways, being signed up by international agencies, competing in international contests, designers and fashion writers being nominated for international awards and recognitions. These are amazing things to hear and we want to hear more of it. Dont we? In the near by future the fashion industry will be setting trends for all the other industries. (I predict). It will finally be the back bone for Ugandas marketing and advertising which we all aspire for. However this cant be achieved if we are still selfish, still cheat other, endless exploitation, lack of unity and a fraternity.
