The Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has to collect Rs 190 billion by the end of September 2013 to meet the revenue collection target of around Rs 480 billion first quarter of July- September (2013-14). On Sunday the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) is making serious efforts to meet the revenue collection target of Rs 190 billion pertaining to Inland Revenue for September 2013. The revenue collection target of July 2013 was Rs 130 billion of Inland Revenue; Rs 160 billion for August 2013 and revenue collection target of September 2013 has been fixed at Rs 190 billion for Inland Revenue covering sales tax, excise duty and direct taxes. September 30 is the last day to finalize revenue collection data of July- September (2013-14).
