The Federal council of the ACDP discussed in detail the rise of militant Islam in Africa and the Middle East . The ACDP totally condemns the actions of Boko Haram , El Shabab , ISIS Hamas and other terrorist groups . The acts of terrorism need to be highlighted and a great cry should rise up on behalf of innocent victims. The South African government has been keeping a low profile on speaking out . Where are our girls stolen from Chibook? Where is the assistance from South Africa?Where is the condemnation of these organizations when Christians and moderate Muslims are murdered daily ? Egypt and Saudi Arabia support Israel due to Hamas attacks on their own people . The ACDP stands unashamedly with the victims of terrorism. Nelson Mandela stood in parliament and said that he instructed the ANC to defend Shell House (now Luthuli House ) even to the point of killing people if they had to. If the ANC recognized its right to self defense , why do they not afford the same right to Israel ? The Federal Council thanks the President of the ACDP Kenneth Meshoe MP and Cheryllyn Dudley MP for upholding these principles and for their recent speeches which informed this statement .
