The Federalist Society proudly invites you to attend their spring kick-off event: Entrepreneurship, Non-Profits, and the Law, Thursday, January 30, 2014, from 12-2pm in the Larkin Moot Court Room. Guest speaker Sean OHare will discuss the role of law as it pertains to entrepreneurship and risk-taking as well as non-profit organizations. Sean is a seasoned entrepreneur, investment banker and adviser to non-profits. Entrepreneurship is the only job description Sean has ever held. At 18, Sean launched his first business, the contracting company SPO Enterprises, for which he received the 2003 East Coast Collegiate Entrepreneur of the Year Award. He graduated magna cum laude from Rider University in 2003. Sean has branched out into media and the non-profit space, serving as a senior adviser to Good Country Pictures and the Solidarity Foundation. In 2007, O’Hare accepted the proposal of U.S. Secretary of Education Margaret Spellings to participate in the first ever Summit for Higher Education and in 2011 Sean was asked to advise on the Pontifical Council for Social Communication through the Vatican. In 2013, Sean participated in a US Delegation to Russia to cultivate political and business exchanges among young leaders. THIS IS A PILF-APPROVED EVENT!!!! Food and drinks will be provided.
