The First High School at Dunlap was situated just behind and left of the present Fair Building east of the present Justice Building. A wooden building to the south side of the school building served as a lunch room,seen in image number two. The School was built in 1909. All grades went to this same school with the first county wooden gym built later across Fredonia Road near the location of last High School. Last color picture shows the wooden gym on the last day it was used as items were being moved by students to the new brick gym which still exist today, only used now as a storage building for the Zipper Factory.
