The First Tee NZ - Northland Golf Northland has been operating The First Tee Programme for the past 18 months in schools throughout Northland. Club-based programmes are now starting at golf clubs in the region - initially The Pines, Waipu and Whangarei. With the generous support of the ASB Community Trust, these first programmes will be subsidised. The normal cost of the programme for 9 weeks is $80 per child – INTRODUCTORY SPECIAL JUST $27.00 PER CHILD Honesty Integrity Sportsmanship Respect Confidence Responsibility Perseverance Courtesy Judgement The programme has been developed so it’s fun for children, while at the same time they learn valuable character development and personal conduct lessons through the game of golf. The First Tee nine core values of are integrated into the lessons taught in The First Tee programme. The goal of The First Tee is to provide golf learning experiences that will enable kids from every walk of life to participate in a game that teaches values for life and which can be played for a lifetime.
