The Flow Report: In Flow in LA Long time no see everyone! I blame it on Los Angeles, this city of angels. I have been here for over a week now and there is something here that resonates deeply with me. I get into my super-flow. A real surprise to me, who would have known! When I lived in San Diego in my early twenties, I used to hate LA. I couldn’t wait to get out of here. The great big energy of this city just felt shallow and scattered and slightly aggressive. But it is different now. Or I am different now. I am much more clear about who I am and what I want to create. And through this state of flow inside me, this great big flow of LA works for me. I somehow only meet very sweet, conscious and deep people from all walks of life. It is like the other ones did not even exist. I know they do of course, I just don’t bump into them. And this thing that I call Flow really works here, in a very extreme sense, just the way I have described it for almost eight years now. You are being forced to stay grounded and centered and connected to your mission. Otherwise this great big energy will swirl you up and spit you out. Like the Goddess Kali, she has enormous energy but just like a hurricane, it can also destroy. Stay on your path though and she will bring you beauty in all forms. Grounding is a challenge in this town since the ground is actually moving. We just had a small earthquake the other day, about 4.5. Nobody died and there was not much damage but still. It woke me up in the middle of the night. My solution to this whole situation is that I stay in Topanga Canyon, a beautiful place in the Santa Monica Mountains. The photo is the view from my little room. So my wish to live closer to nature came true in LA of all places. I feel happy and grateful. I go down the mountain for meetings and always look forward to come back up. Some days I just stay here all day and go hiking, or write on my computer at the local café. It is so peaceful and there is such a wonderful community of people here. Like northern California but in southern California, with the beach close at hand. And for a Swedish beach bum like me, that is the greatest blessing. Love to you all
