His body is ready, His eyes are intense. He stares at the end zone, Lines up on his man. He feels the world watching, Hes set for his plan. He lives for the moment, His gift is the sense. His body is ready, His eyes are intense. He cracks all his fingers, Then steps on the mat. Bows to his opponent, And plans his attack. He lives for the moment, His gift is the sense. His body is ready, His eyes are intense. Concerned in the classroom, He thinks of his girl. He texts a sweet message, To brighten her world. He lives for the moment, His gift is the sense. His body is ready, His eyes are intense. He stands on the half pipe, And feels his heartbeat. His life, in that second, Feels truly complete. He lives for the moment, His gift is the sense. His body is ready, His eyes are intense. This young man has taught us, To value the now. To live with our passion - Resilient, and proud. He lived for the moment, His eyes were intense.
