Heres what we the Barton District St. Elizabeth Association see all across this great Community - people working together to make Barton St. Elizabeth a better place to live, work, invest, devepole and to raise children, to grow and pursue dreams. Growth is never by mere chance; it is the result of forces working together. We cannot accomplish all that we need to do without working together. Nobodys going to fix the world for us, but working together, making use of technological innovations and human communities alike, we might just be able to fix it ourselves. We have gone through some difficult times like everyone else and perhaps our working together and respecting each others abilities, in addition to that little thing called love, helped us survive. We need to develop and disseminate an entirely new paradigm and practice of collaboration that supersedes the traditional silos that have divided governments, philanthropies and private enterprises for decades and replace it with networks of partnerships working together to create a globally prosperous society. The combined results of several people working together is often much more effective than could be that of an individual scientist working alone. The lessons from the peace process are clear; whatever life throws at us, our individual responses will be all the stronger for working together and sharing the load.
