The Food Stamp program is being cut this week (Friday) to a certain extent-------I know it may have doubled in the past few years-----------The thought that enters my mind is this--------------President Obama always mentions great Economic Growth-------My question would be, if there is such great growth and the jobs added has been so successful, then why did the Food Stamp program double in the past few years?-------Im just asking!..............You cant have it both ways-----------If the economy has improved so much, I would think that food stamp allocation would decrease------I support the Food Stamp program------------- The economy is adding many workers per month---------Ill make this simple-----------The Administration always releases how many jobs were added------------They are very quiet about the other number (the untold story)-----------------We have added 200,000 jobs this month-----------However,we lost 300,000 jobs because many people are no longer looking for jobs or they simply could not find one ...........They have dropped out,so to speak---------They have given up----------The Administration has mentioned this to a degree, but it is relatively kept quiet--------Point--------I do not support many Entitlement Programs, but I do support the Food Stamp program===========Heck--------If the Administration would have directed their monies to food instead of an unacceptable Website----------all Americans could feast at their favorite restaurant every night of the week-----------------Heres a question that enters my mind--------------The economy is better than ever according to the Administration (although they do admit that there is a way to go)----------Therefore Food Stamp applications, you would think, would have decreased----------The economy could collapse with a single mistake in my opinion----------------Food Stamps are one entitlement program that I support-----------Remember--------------Due to a total screw up by the Administration, it is much more costly in the long term to advocate for a system (website) that does not work=====.
