The Forbidden Forest!!!! Pine Forest of Bagora (Karseong) Dont go very inside of this forest,sir!!..they live in deep!! someone warned me from behind.I was about to enter into the forest.I saw an old man of mid sixty standing behind me.He told againIts not time to go into this forest,sir. I exclaimed Why?...What is there inside the Forest?The old man said He is the Phantom of this pine forest, a Mountain Leopard with unbelievable power of swiftness!! It comes every night in our village for search of prey,sir...You will never believe my story Sir, but last year I saw his one glance. He comes downhill in winter.It was very cold evening that day and our village get covered in a thick blanket of fog.The night came with an ominous silence everywhere.I was cooking in my room and suddenly i saw a shadow(in light of lamp) entered into my cattle house.I run outside and found one of my goat missing , the door wide open and blood splattered on the ground.He killed my goat within 2-3 minutes and then the leopard carried it down the steep hillside and went inside the deep forest.Next day after the sun had been up a few hours, I went with my son taking the blood trial and found the carcass left for next night. It came many times killed cattle and even dogs also.Along with this forest is also home of big Himalayan Black Bears who never give mercy to anybody on their path. So go back Sir....Let them live in peace..its their Territory
