The Ford Motor Company has donated a large amount of money to buy tools, machines and suppliers to undergo a cleaning and clearing action of the Spruit in Meyerspark. Furthermore, about 80 employees of Ford are doing the job. The project was initiated by Leora Lipka and is being planned and coordinated with the help of Jeff Morris and Neil van Wyk. The cleaning and clearing is taking place on the 9th and 10th of September. If you would like to join and help you are welcome to do so. You also may bring tools, like chainsaw and bush-cutters, tools should be petrol powered.
