Learn how you can become involved as well! Peace & Nature (P&N) is an international NPO based in Kobe with Japanese and foreign members. P&N aims to work towards world peace through three main channels: the Kitano Shop, social activity, and organic farming. Since 2009, they have been growing their own rice and vegetables without any chemicals at their organic farm in Kobe. P&N believes that by growing their own food and touching the soil, people can learn to appreciate nature in all its beauty, severity and toughness. Their vision is to establish an international organic village that helps children from all around the world grow and learn together in a natural environment. They hope to inspire and nurture the next generation of green leaders, and to help create a better future for all of us. About the speaker Peace and Nature’s Executive Director Bahram Enanloo is from Tehran, Iran. He has lived in Japan for over 25 years. Bahram founded P&N in 2003, and it was officially granted non-profit status in August 2006. He lives with his family in Kobe. In 2011, Bahram opened their first shop in Kitano, Kobe. Their mission is to produce safe food for the children of the world. P&N has a yearly schedule for their social activities. Please check the website for more information: store.peace-and-nature.
