The Forest Lake City Planning Commission has a vacancy. Serving on an advisory board is a fantastic way to get involved with the community. Planning Commissioners work with the City’s Comprehensive Plan and Zoning Code on a variety of proposed improvements such as subdivisions, variances, easements, new neighborhood designs, parking facilities, public utility services, general land use and other matters relating to the physical development of the City. The Planning Commission makes recommendations on these improvements to the City Council for final approval. The Commission meets the 2nd & 4th Wednesday at 7:00 P.M. each month at City Hall. The term is for this vacancy ends January 31, 2015.
