The Formula Showroom has a new, old addition—the Formula 233 CL. The 233 hull was certainly the most imitated design in the marine industry, with boat makers around the world copying its stunning design! At 23’3” in length and a beam of 8’0”, the Formula 233, designed by Jim Wynne, was introduced in 1962 and completed its storied life in 1983. While the Formula 242 was to be the replacement, the 233’s performance characteristics would rarely be duplicated. The 233 was even host for the Beatles when they first arrived in the United States! We welcome this exciting addition to the Formula Showroom—history in the making!
