The Fort Bragg Communities Visitors Bureau daily works to promote Cumberland County NC as a destination for meetings, tournaments and individual travel. In the last two weeks, here’s a few of the things we’ve accomplished: ✔ Attended the AAA Carolinas SuperBowl of Knowledge to educate AAA staff on Cumberland County’s tourism amenities. ✔ Met with sports tournament planners from around the United States at the USSSA 2014 Convention and the TEAMS Conference & Expo. ✔ Uploaded 75 calendar submissions to Visit North Carolina Our State Magazine, Carolina Country Magazine, The Fayetteville Observer and other publications ✔ Visited both the North Carolina Division of Tourism, Film and Sports Development Welcome Centers on I-95 to inform staff of the latest happenings in Fort Bragg Communities of Cumberland County. ✔Added two new locally made products to our retail store at 245 Person Street. ✔Collected 40 visitor surveys at county hotels. ✔Welcomed a Canadian travel writer to the Cape Fear Botanical Garden ✔ Presented to attendees on the ACS Newcomers Tour ✔Helped promote the 225th Anniversary of the NC Delegates signing the US Constitution ✔ Attended Veterans Day celebrations in Spring Lake, NC, Hope Mills, North Carolina and Downtown Fayetteville
