The France-Canada Research Fund (FCRF) has launched its 2014 Joint PhD and New Collaborations program’s calls for proposals. The Joint PhD Award and Scholarship programs are available for Canadian PhD Students. Deadline for application on March 1st, 2014. Value: $8K-15K over two years INTERESTED APPLICANTS SHOULD CONSULT THE GUIDE FOR COMPLETE DETAILS. The France-Canada Research Fund (FCRF) acts to promote and develop Franco-Canadian scientific and academic exchanges of excellence in every field of study, from the “hard” sciences to human and social sciences. Program Objectives: - Support developing new expert partnerships between France and Canada - Promote the advancement of research and innovation - Prepare and structure scientific cooperation between the two countries - Promote researcher mobility, particularly for young researchers - Provide research training for young researchers Projects must be jointly developed between a French team (all universities, Grandes Écoles, and research organizations are eligible) and Canadian team that have never worked together before Successful proposals will: - Include participation of young researchers and/or Master’s/doctoral students - Encourage Binational collaboration For details see (or check with your university): ambafrance-ca.org/France-Canada-Research-Fund
