The Fraud Department at U.S. New Mexico would like to inform our members of a recent ObamaCare-related scam. Please beware of government impostors. Scammers are calling, texting, or emailing, claiming to be "government officials” who need to verify your social security number or bank information to discuss the new healthcare plan. Please do not fall for this scam. DO NOT give your social security number or account information to these fraudsters. Once scammers have that information they may be able to access your financial information and commit fraud. If you think you may be a victim of this scam, please contact our fraud department at 342-8871.
