The Friday, August 29, Varsity football game against Perrysburg has been selected as the “Goodwill Pass it on Challenge” on 13abc. We need everyone’s help!!! It’s simple, all you need to do is gather your items to donate and place them in “Goodwill Pass it on Challenge Truck” located in the Washington Junior High parking lot on Alexis Road. It will be open and available to accept donations Monday - Thursday next week from 7-10 am and 2-5:30 pm. If things are left in the parking lot near the trailer, they will be put in the next morning by the Goodwill staff members. The donations will be weighed on Friday morning and the winning school with the most weight will be announced Friday afternoon and televised on 13abc. The winning school will receive $500 for Whitmer students! Really, everyone wins, because the items donated will be sold at Goodwill stores and the profits will be used to help people with disabilities right here in our community. So clean your closets, basements, garages out and bring in your donations. Anything and everything is accepted (excluding mattresses and tube televisions). Tell your family and neighbors! They can help us beat Perrysburg AND help people with disabilities at the same time! Remember, one mans junk is another mans treasure! Please donate :)
