The Friends of the Dry Creek Parkway is a group of volunteers - TopicsExpress

The Friends of the Dry Creek Parkway is a group of volunteers dedicated to preserving and enhancing the Dry Creek Parkway. Hundreds of hours have already been dedicated during 2013 by volunteers removing trash and red sesbania an highly invasive non-native shrub. These efforts are contributing to the conservation and restoration of the Dry Creek riparian ecosystem and a safer and cleaner Parkway that can be enjoyed by all. We need support from volunteers to continue the trash and red sesbania removal efforts. We also need support in the development/planning of programs to enhance the Parkway, as well as foster stewardship of the Parkway. These include salmon counts and salmon habitat restoration, establishing a native plant nursery (seed collection), and guiding nature walks in the Dry Creek Parkway.
