The Fur Flies in Belfast, Northern Ireland! ARAN is on a mission to get the island of Ireland talking about the fur trade! We first kicked off our skinned fur campaign back in Dublin in the run up to Christmas https://youtube/watch?v=RlHg5QUHIUA. We have since brought it to Limerick City, and now Belfast! It was first off to BBC Radio Ulster to talk about the anti-fur campaign and the queen wearing real fur, shortly after that interview we were going off to Ulster 105 to talk about the skinned campaign. At exactly 11.30am in Cork Market Square our supporters gathered holding the bodies of dead foxes to the waiting throng of media cameras. Shortly after the campaign was winding its way onto the most read newspaper in Belfast - the Belfast Telegraph! The following day one of the papers had a full page on the campaign and another newspaper ran a full page on faux fur, and another paper with a brilliant image of one of ARANs campaigners holding the skinned fox whilst a fur wearer was in the background.
