The GFWC-Big Rapids Mitten Tree is up and ready to accept donations of mittens, gloves, hats and scarves - anything that will help keep a child warm during the cold winter months. It will stay up until December 8 in the lobby of Chemical Bank in downtown Big Rapids. Donations from anyone in the community are appreciated. All donated items are given to WISE and Project Starburst to share with the children they serve.
