The GM Centre in Oshawa will be hosting a pre-tournament hockey - TopicsExpress

The GM Centre in Oshawa will be hosting a pre-tournament hockey game this weekend, leading up to the World Junior Hockey Championships, a great event. Ticket prices are $25.00 and $30.00, for a totally meaningless game, the final score of which neither the coaches nor players of either team care about, understandably. Its a workout, nothing more. To boot, the game involves not Canada but Finland and Russia, still one less reason for anyone, expect maybe friends or relatives of the unknown players, to care about it. Why would anyone go to this practice, let alone pay anything to watch? My guess, for what its worth? The rink will be under half full, of fans sitting on their hands in total disinterest in the result. wowie --- cant wait. Z Z Z Z Z Z Z The Oshawa Generals website, from where I receive regular ads, is trying to hype the gate by coming up with reasons to go to this game. Its not working
