The GOOD news is that Daddy was NOT having a heart attack this morning when the nice paramedics came bright and early to give him a ride to the ER. The bad news is that he is having an acute episode of pulmonary edema/congestive heart failure. He is in the hospital now and they are working to figure out cause (also has elevated wbc counts) and treatment. Katey is on her 3rd dose of chemo at UAB, and Daddy is at St Vincents...which stretches Mama and Anna Messer rather thin! Please pray for all of my Alabama folks who are dealing with this...and for the winner of the 2014 Worlds Worst Daughter award for not being there! :(
