The GOP controls 57% of the House and 52% of the Senate for the next two years. Until and unless a party has 60 members in the Senate they have to exercise the art of compromise in order to lead. Now, the heavy lifting comes. Both parties have much at stake in 2016. If either prove to be obstructionist and disruptive in their approach....if either refuses to compromise on those critical issues: (Immigration Reform, Threats in the Middle East, Tax Reform, Health Care Reform, Passing a Budget to keep the federal government operating) in two years the voters are going to respond in the same manner they did yesterday. The critical question for both is this: Will they devote their energies to the business of Governing OR the politics of Posturing We will all be watching...... :)
