The GOP led U.S. House tabled the vote on their Border bill today - TopicsExpress

The GOP led U.S. House tabled the vote on their Border bill today when it became clear they didnt have enough votes from their own caucus. They delayed their vacation by one day in hopes of having a bill that will pass tomorrow. Dilemma within the party? Some feel they need to pass something, even if they know the Senate wont vote for it, so they can go home to their constituents and say they tried to pass a solution but Harry Reid refused to vote on it. Some feel they shouldnt vote on anything convinced that no action will be blamed on President Obama anyway. Wouldnt it be amazing to have members of our Congress work to solve problems instead of calculating the politics?
