The GP Alliance calls for interested doctors to participate in our Family Doctor Week social media campaign. We are seeking rural and remote practitioners who wish to actively promote the importance of general practice in the community, the value and efficiencies it offers and the very real difference GPs make in peoples lives every day. If you participate, your story will appear on Facebook and Twitter for the week and for an ongoing community presence around valuing General Practitioners and their role in community life. The social media campaign will allow for active engagement from members and community. If you are interested in participating please send your expression of interest to [email protected] by Tuesday 26 July 2014. In the email, you will need to: -Confirm you are able to participate in the project -Provide written, video or audio contributions for the page telling us why you became GP and what you love about their work. -Nominate one or two patients who will offer short written, video or audio contributions around the difference their GP makes. -Share & follow the FB & Twitter sites and encourage all members to actively participate - also to promote more widely.
