The Gambia:-The Video Interview that TRIGGERS the Mutineers in The Gambia? *********************************************************************** Could this be the video-interview of Yahyah Jammeh two weeks ago that led to this Tuesdays mutiny?, ...Out of fear that Yahyah Jammeh will garner even more popularity once this laudable effort is achieved come 2016? (One year from Now). He said:- by 2016 I will not allow one grain of rice to be imported into this country, and i mean it and i am going to achieve that.-VISION-2016. Hate him or loathe him, this is a man with a mission and has his sight on a legacy. One key thing i got from this interview on:- Achieving food security for The Gambia by 2016, was CLARITY. This is a man that knows exactly what he wants to achieve and HOW he can achieve it. Thats clarity right there. If Gambians are to embrace and participate in this laudable process, they must be able to internalize it. To internalize the process, they must first grasp it. Clarity is thus absolutely essential. If you are the kind of guy that knows anything about Personal-development and Goals-setting, youll agree with me that, one will never achieve any goal in life without clarity.I mean when last have you achieve any major goal without clarity my friend?-- It will never happen. Here he talked about how he will enable The Gambia to feed itself by 2016 and not relying or depending on any international community to feed his people or do any form of importing of staple-food rice, into The Gambia. Well 2016, is just around the corner and by the looks of things i have no doubt he will deliver this promise to the Gambian people. Yahyah Jammeh refused to bow down to anybody including foreign-imperialists with devious agendas to undermine the social fabric of that nation. He is doing what he thinks is right and good for his people.- As the late Pan- Africanist,Thomas Sankara who sought to end the political ventriloquism practiced by former African colonial rulers as well as the continents dependency on foreign aid, once said:- HE WHO FEEDS YOU CONTROLS YOU. Surely that man was a leader ahead of his time.---Need I say more ?
