The Gambia Football Federation (GFF) is pleased to announce that the Young Scorpions have finally winded up their local preparations ahead of their First Leg Preliminary CAF Youth Championship Qualifier against Liberia. The Team is scheduled to fly out of Banjul on Thursday 3rd April, 2014 to Monrovia where they would be met by Officials of the Liberia Football Federation (LFA). LIST OF PLAYERS 1. The Team and delegation would be expected back in Banjul on Tuesday 8th April, 2014. In this vein, the GFF Executive solicits the general support of all Gambians for the Young Scorpions’ successful First Leg Match in the Qualifier. The GFF takes this opportunity to extend thanks and appreciations to the Ministry of Youth and Sports for the provision of Air tickets and local camping of the Team. They further thank the Gambia National Olympic Committee (GNOC) for the allowances paid to the Team and delegation to Monrovia. Furthermore, the GFF wishes to felicitate His Excellency the President Sheikh Prof Alh Dr Yahya AJJ Jammeh for the moral support extended to the Gambia Football Federation in their quest for Football development.
