The Garth Brooks press conference has just concluded. Heres some of the stuff we learned: -He will be launching a world tour, dates to be announced sometime after July 14th. For now, tickets for the shows will only be available at garthbrooks, though he did say hes working with the folks at Ticketmaster on a plan to make sure all tickets are affordable for everybody. -Hes working on a new album, could be finished by the end of the month. No title or official release date yet. Hes working with lots of Nashville songwriters, but also working on some of his own material. -He will finally be releasing his music digitally, but not through itunes. It will only be available at garthbrooks, and he says there will be a chance for fans to get digital versions of some of his older music for a super-cheap price -The new album, once released, will be available everywhere, no exclusive deals with Walmart, Target, etc. What do you think?
