The Gathering Primary goal is to bring trail riders together for friendship and fun. Secondary goal is Trail Ride supporting Wounded Warriors Chicken Ranch Dancehall Nechanitz, Tx This is a show up and ride. Ride will happen RAIN or SHINE. There will be 4WD Tractors available if it rains and you get stuck. Sign Up - Donations will be accepted for Wounded Warriors. - All proceeds from auction and raffle will go towards Wounded Warriors. All meals are on your own. There will be a caterer selling Breakfast only on Saturday and Sunday only. SATURDAY NIGHT COOK OUT - There will be a community grill going for a group meal - Bring a side dish to share with everyone - Cook your own meats (This is open to all, but optional to join in, at least come sit and socialize with everyone at meal time) All Dancehall cover charges are on your own. - Thursday / Open 7pm-10pm - Weekly Pool Tournament If you happen to pull in early - Friday / Band TBD Doors open at 7pm, Music 8pm-12am - Saturday / Band TBD Doors open at 8pm, Music 9pm-1am - Ages 12 & under are free. - $1 from each cover goes to Wounded Warriors. Live Bands Friday and Saturday Night Sunday Night - Karoake under the tent outdoors Monday is Veterans Day Thursday Ride - Short afternoon ride (8 miles) Friday Ride - Short afternoon ride (8 miles) Saturday Ride Out 9:00am (13-15 miles) Sunday Ride Out 9:30am (8-10 miles) * Horses Should Be Shod or Boots (Gravel roads will be reduced) * Plan is to get back to camp a bit earlier * 2 Port-A-Cans on the ride. ** There will be a bus for coolers and non-horse riders. ** No open ground fires ** On the ride, do not tie horses to fences Chicken Ranch Dancehall has Beer, Wine and Setups. You are allowed to bring your liquor in (bottle). 68 Acres for camping. Water trough for horses will be available. No hookups - generators welcomed. There will be a silent and live auction. (If each group could donate at least 1 auction item) - Saturday Evening Raffle being put together as well. Dates says 4/11 - 11/13, but you are welcome to pull in Wednesday 4/9 - Thursday (4/10) and leave as late as Monday (4/14). 2013 Grand Total: $19,747.60 This is a family-friendly ride where everyone is welcome and everyone is expected to control themselves for theirs and others safety on the trail and in camp.
